MBB Fundraiser raises close to $15,000
May 30, 2009 - On May 30, MBB LA Chapter organized a fundraiser in hopes of raising at least $10,000 for MBB’s projects and to open up a conversation on global conflicts and support building conflict resolution capacity around the world. Attended by over 80 people, the fundraiser exceeded MBB’s expectations by bringing in $14,758 ($12,360 for projects and $2,398 for operations) and eight new members. The Liberian Initiative Receives $ 7,720 in Anonymous Donations

Ghana-Liberia fundraiser brings in close to $1,000
Nov. 14, 2007 -- The Wine and Cheese reception for the Liberian Peacebuilding Initiative organized by Rachel Wohl, MBB Director, Annapolis, Maryland, USA on November 14 was very successful as the event raised close to $1,000 to support the travel of the MBB Project Implementation Team to conduct mediation training at the Buduburam Settlement. Rachel Wohl spoke about the mission of MBB and Harriett Nettles, Founding Member, Mechanicsville, Maryland, spoke about her experiences at the refugee camp. The potential of Liberia recovering from the 14 years of Civil War was recognized by all. MBB Founding Members who attended the event include Joan Rowell and Patricia Powel, Annapolis, Maryland, USA.
