Start a Professional Chapter
Professional Chapters are groups of MBB Members who are in the same geographic area and share the same passion for MBB’s mission. They work together to translate MBB's goals into action and outreach in their communities.
The main activities of Professional Chapters are local educational events, public dialogues, local training sessions, conference participation, and providing support to MBB projects.

Start a University Chapter
Mediators Beyond Borders International charters graduate level University Chapters that support and participate in MBB activities and projects. In addition to support and research, Chapter members conduct community outreach building conflict resolution and peace-building awareness.
Students at any graduate level are eligible for membership. Faculty advisors and MBB Members assist with educational and mentoring activities. And, like MBB, University Chapters are essential to building the next generation of mediators.
Individuals must meet the sponsoring university’s requirements for student organizations. Undergraduate students and other members of the university community are welcome to participate in most Chapter-sponsored on-campus activities.

Benefits
University Chapter Members enjoy almost the same benefits as MBB’s Mediator Members. They include:
- Membership in a community of peace builders working to reduce conflict and violence in our world
- Eligibility to be considered as a project team member
- Eligibility to be considered to participate on projects of affiliated organizations

- Inclusion on MBB’s electronic mailing list including newsletters, project updates and volunteer announcements

Pay Dues
University Chapters in the U.S. pay US $365. Membership covers 25 student members and two faculty members, and includes all Mediator Member benefits. Additional members are charged individually as Student Members. For International University Chapters, the fee is US $182.50.
