Mediators Beyond Borders International is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with its main administrative office located at 555 8th Ave, Suite 1902, New York, NY 10018.
MBB is registered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of State, Bureau of Charitable Organizations under the Solicitation of Funds for Charitable Purposes Act, 10 P.S. 162.2 et seq., and is authorized to solicit charitable contributions under the conditiions and limitations of set forth under the Act at Certificate #33695.
Members of the Board of Directors serve as volunteers and do not receive any compensation for their administrative or professional services. Directors and Members expend their personal funds to participate in conferences and activities on behalf of MBB. Neither the officers or Directors receive any reimbursement for travel.

Charlie Pillsbury has served as MBB’s first Executive Director since November 1, 2009. Charlie is also an MBB Founding Member and a member of MBB’s Colombia project team. From 1989 – 2009, Charlie was the Executive Director of Community Mediation, Inc., a nonprofit community mediation center in New Haven, Connecticut. He was a founding Board member of the National Association for Community Mediation (NAFCM) in 1993, and was Co-Chair of NAFCM’s Board of Directors from 1999 – 2001. He currently is also an Adjunct Professor and Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Center on Dispute Resolution, Quinnipiac University School of Law. |

Gillian joins the organization to fill a new position created in the restructuring of MBB staffing. Gillian will take over project and program development, working to support projects, membership and volunteers. She also will work closely with Jaffe Management to ensure that all the organization's logistical needs are met.
Gillian comes to MBB with a strong background in dispute resolution and working with nonprofit organizations. She has extensive experience in mediation, working with governments, working with NGO's, and in project planning. Her work with Canada's First Nations is very similar to the work MBB engages in globally. She also brings experience in working with staff and volunteers who are spread over great distances. |
