Ambassadors Program

The Ambassadors Program was developed by Board Member and the Board Liaison for the Ambassadors Program Nan Waller Burnett in cooperation with Board Members Lynn H. Cole and Douglas Noll to inform law schools, graduate programs and policy principals throughout the world about MBB and its mission through the outreach of MBB members.

“Our body of experienced mediators can assist our mission in building conflict resolution capacity around the world by making contact with and setting in person meetings with experienced ADR faculty and professionals in foreign countries, where the potential exists for developing local projects in areas of need,” Nan described in the program proposal.

Members of the Ambassador’s program are to be prepared to further our mission through the sharing of information in various countries and thus allow our organization to be more effective in achieving our mission. Each mission is funded by each delegation.

The Board of Directors approved the program at the 2nd Annual MBB Congress in New Orleans in March 2009.
