Executive Summary

CCRC, Sembrandopaz and MBB share a common vision of peacebuilding.  CCRC and Sembrandopaz have a vision of building a culture of peace and promoting reconciliation in the Caribbean region of Colombia; and MBB has a vision of building sustainable conflict resolution capacity for a more peace “able” world. CCRC, Sembrandopaz and MBB have agreed, therefore, to work as equal partners and to coordinate their efforts to build a culture of peace and promote reconciliation in the Caribbean region of Colombia, initially in the Departments of Bolivar and Sucre.  The first set of project activities will take place in the village of Caño Berrugüita, which is part of the community of Macayepo, in the municipality of El Carmen de Bolivar, in the Department of Bolivar.
