Julia Roig is an attorney, skilled mediator, facilitator and trainer with ten years of diverse international management experience. Currently she is the Executive Director at the Partners for Democratic Change, an international organization committed to building sustainable local capacity to advance civil society and a culture of change and conflict management worldwide.
From 2006 to 2008, she served as Serbia Country Director for the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative. Ms. Roig is also past Chair of the International Section of Association for Conflict Resolution and a member of the Editorial Board of Conflict Resolution Quarterly.
She has significant experience in systems design, program management, community outreach and training and has expertise in facilitating professional briefings and educational courses for community members, attorneys, judges, administrators, federal executives, and foreign ministers.
She has authored multiple case studies, project reports, articles, industry newsletters, and grant proposals and specializes in the evaluation of international assistance programs and impact assessments.
She holds a J.D. from The George Washington University School of Law. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French. |
