Trevor Maisiri is a researcher, writer and founder and Executive Director of the African Reform Institute (ARI), an organization focusing on training, advocacy, research, publications and policy frameworking in the field of peacebuilding and democracy in Zimbabwe. Mr. Maisiri also works as a part-time teaching assistant at the Africa Leadership and Management Academy (ALMA) in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Until 2008 he served as the Executive Director of the Africa Christian Research and Policy Trust. Prior to that he worked as the national coordinator and pastor at the Church of Worship International for two years.
Mr. Maisiri holds a Bachelors degree in Applied Chemistry from the National University of Science and Technology and a Masters degree in Leadership & Management from the Africa Leadership & Management Academy (ALMA). He is a certified Level 5 Reintergration and Logical Framework Approach practitioner.
Mr. Maisiri has been actively involved in the search for community peacebuilding initiatives in the wake of the Zimbabwean crisis that arose in 2008. In that regard he has carried out research titled “Causes of the Conflict and Building Strategic Interventions,” which he presented to over 15 local and international NGO’s working in the field of peacebuilding and democracy. |
