Amanda Faulkner was raised in Southern Ontario, spending most of her teens in Toronto before doing her undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia in History and Political Science, with a focus on military history and the role of gender in conflict zones. She is a member of the Robson Hall law class of 2011 at the University of Manitoba and has participated in a number of extracurricular activities there, in addition to a committement to volunteering at Camp Quality, a camp for children surviving or living with cancer. Although she is currently excited to start a Corporate Law career she is committed to MBB and what it stands for. As her pet project, Amanda hopes to dedicate her time and energy to getting this new (first Canadian university chapter!) off the ground and running in the fall of 2009! |
