University Chapters

MBB University Chapters are groups of passionate and dedicated graduate level students who have come together to form a student organization to support and participate in MBB activities, goals, and projects. They are joined by faculty advisors and MBB Members who assist with educational and mentoring activities.

The main focus of MBB University Chapters is on educational activities in the local community, including raising public awareness of peace building processes and initiatives. University Chapters may also submit a proposal to the MBB Chapters Committee to research and create relationships with educational institutions and NGOs operating in another country.

MBB's University Chapter Leadership Committee

The University Chapter Leadership Committee (“UCLC”) was formed to bring together student leaders from chartered MBB University Chapters. Board Member and University Chapter Coordina¬tor Zarra Elias works with the UCLC officers and provides assistance, advice and suggestions to current and prospective university chapters. The UCLC officers organize monthly conference calls where all MBB University Chapter leaders share ideas regarding chapter administration, dis¬cuss ongoing chapter issues and generate propos¬als to improve chapter functions and activities.

MBB is proud to introduce the 2011-2012 UCLC Officers:

President: Bina Patel
Vice Presidents: Aditya Khandekar and Suman Virk
Secretary: Victoria Pagos
Membership Chair: Micah McCrary
